Bowes Publishers Limited was formed in November, 1950 with the purchase of the Grande Prairie Herald-Tribune.
Since then we have put down roots in a number of communities across Canada. The company has grown
through the purchase of existing properties and the founding of new publications and production facilities.
More than anything else, the story of Bowes is a story of people…now more than 2000 strong …dedicated
to the production of good newspapers, shopping guides, magazines and quality printing for our clients.

The success and reputation which Bowes Publishers Limited and its operating entities have
